Grade 3 - 4
Arrangements in this series include optional Flute and Clarinet parts. All Piano and Bass parts are written out but also include chords. A full band sound will be possible with bands of 4 Saxes, 2/3 Trumpets, 2/3 Trombones ,3 Rhythm.
Grades 4.5 - 5
These charts have been written for advanced or “pro” ensembles. They are for full standard Big Band and do not include optional Flute and Clarinet parts. Some doubling is required on some tunes. Piano, Bass, Guitar parts are not notated, but generally only have chords supplied. No solos are written as improvisation is encouraged at this level.
